About

My name is Inna Daigin, and my love story with board games began in early childhood, with countless chess and occasional card games with my parents. Afterwards there were Scrabble, Battleship and other “school games”, some of them handmade, followed by old versions of Monopoly at the age of 14-16.

But “the real thing” came just in my 20’s, when friends introduced me to Magic: The Gathering, opening for me a door to an endlessly rich and spectacular universe of this fascinating card game and board games in general. Being moved, inspired, enchanted and almost hypnotized by the beauty and impressive opportunities of Magic: The Gathering, I spent a number of years playing it, making my own decks, collecting the cards and even trying to create new ones.

Once I entered this world, there was no way back, and since then each new board game has been for me like an uninvestigated, but inviting planet in a beautiful limitless and live universe of human thought and imagination.

This is my new blog, in which I would like to share my (not so rich yet) experience with board games and my love for them with you, to find like-minded players, to learn something from “true gamers” and to give a glimpse of this wonderful world to those who are just about to enter it, like me many years ago.
